CHOICES is a non-profit community-based organization that provides services to latina women, high risk youth, pregnant teens, parenting adolescents and their families. CHOICES addresses the social, environmental an psychological issues that pertain to culture and gender. |
CHOICES StaffAida Feria Aida Feria is a community leader and is the Director of Choices. Ms. Feria has extensive experience in directing service delivery programs and she has been an outstanding director of the CAMP project. Ms. Feria is responsible for the overall planning, supervision, development, training, report writing, fiscal and general coordination of the project. She meets with school boards, local legislators, the media, and the general public in order to maintain good public relations for the project. She supervises the theater component including, the facilitation of youth focus groups, script enhancement, cast recruitment and auditions. Bianca L. Guzmán, PhD. Dr. Guzmán is responsible for all research and evaluation activities conducted at Choices. She creates research/evaluation protocols and carries out work plan activities. She trains and supervises all undergraduate/graduate students that manage all aspect of data collection, entry and dissemination. She creates evaluation plans and any surveys that are necessary to determine the impact of proposed project components. Dr. Guzmán serves as the liaison between school officials and the evaluation team. She is also responsible for grant writing.
